I am very grateful for my safety. I’m realizing more and more as I get older that not everyone I meet had been blessed with such a safe and nurturing upbringing, let alone feels safe now.

I’m also more aware of how fortunate I am for living where I do now.

Part of my gratitude is what led me to search out http://www.kiva.org and become a part of their micro-lending team. I’m not Donald Trump or anything but I really feel that every little bit helps, no matter how little : )

Gratitude and appreciation are the corner stones of humility. Being humble and grateful for the blessings one receives generates a positive energy which is projected to those who meet you.

I completely agree David! I think that’s part of the reason why I found this journey so necessary for not only myself but everyone else. I love the ripple effect or butterfly effect. Any way you call it, it’s amazing what can shift by our own gratitude and appreciation. Thanks for commenting! I really appreciate it!
