Reiki! It’s official!

It’s official!

As of today, Friday, March 20th 2009, I am a certified Reiki Level II practitioner!

What is Reiki?

The simplest way to describe Reiki is a therapeutic touch healing modality.  It is great for stress reduction and pain relief.  It is also a wonderful way to relax.

The concept of touch in Reiki is subjective to your own comfort level both as a recipient or as the healer.  Touch, while it is a necessary part of healthy living, is not critical to the effectiveness of a healing modality such as Reiki.  In fact, Reiki practitioners are hugely successful with Distance Healing.  The beauty of Distance Healing is that the receiver of Reiki doesn’t have to be in the same room, let alone the same time zone as the giver.

How cool is that?!

As a certified level II practitioner, I’ve been given the gifts of greater healing through Reiki.  I can’t wait to share it all with you!

If you’re curious or interested in receiving Reiki, let me know and I’ll be happy to speak with you and set up a session so you too can experience the healing power of Reiki!

I’ll also be sharing my Reiki experiences with all of you, especially as I continue on my journey to eventually become a Reiki Master and joyfully accept the task of teaching others to embrace the healing energy that is already present in each of you.

Sound a little too woo woo for you?  8-O

Perhaps, but how does less anxiety and decreased pain sound to you?

Reiki can do that for you and more.  Even better yet, no copay and no waiting in a doctor’s office!
