The 21 Day Gratitude Journey, Day 15

NEW TO THE GRATITUDE JOURNEY?  HERE’S A QUICK OVERVIEW!

JOIN IN WHENEVER YOU’RE READY…

HERE’S THE PLAN:

I’LL SPEND THE NEXT 21 DAYS FOCUSED ON GRATITUDE. EACH DAY I WILL FOCUS ON ONE ASPECT & EACH DAY I WILL SHOW MY GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION TO SOMEONE NEW.

And what I’d love is for you to join me. Tell your friends, your family, co-workers, anyone.

I honestly feel that if we can embrace gratitude & all the goodness in the world, then we’ll be able to make amazing & far reaching positive change.

We are all capable of amazing things & it’ll take far less effort than you may think!

Gratitude is step one.

Assignment for Day 15:

1. How do you show gratitude for your job or for the work that you do?  Regardless of whether or not it’s what you’re looking to do, how do you show gratitude for it?

Work can be a funny thing.  You know you need it in some way, shape or form but you don’t always want to do it.  On the other hand, when you truly enjoy what you do, it ends being a job and becomes more of a joy.

No matter where on the spectrum you fall, how do you feel about the work that you do?  How can you be more grateful for it and how can you create it in such a way where it becomes more pleasurable and less and less like work.

Spend a few minutes thinking & writing. Choose one place to collect your thoughts for our 21 day journey.

2. Choose your fifteenth person to show gratitude to. You are free to speak your gratitude, write your gratitude or show your gratitude.

Any way that feels the most appropriate, that is how you need to do it.

Be honest & open. You are doing everything right!

Please feel free to share your thoughts below. Ask for help, guidance or support.

We’re all in this together

This is a fun question for me. I recently read something on Twitter which went something like “find a job that you enjoy and you gain 5 whole days to your week.”

I find myself very lucky and very blessed to be in a situation where my “work” isn’t really “work.”

But let’s not kid ourselves, it does take a lot of work sometimes to make things look effortless and it’s not always fun but I am grateful to have found the field that I really want to be in. After that, it’ll just take some thinking, some discovery and maybe a little “work” to get myself to the point where I’ll have an extra 5 days : )

If you haven’t found yours yet, then keep looking. I promise you, it’s out there.
