The 21 Day Gratitude Journey, Day 12

NEW TO THE GRATITUDE JOURNEY?  HERE’S A QUICK OVERVIEW!

JOIN IN WHENEVER YOU’RE READY…

HERE’S THE PLAN:

I’LL SPEND THE NEXT 21 DAYS FOCUSED ON GRATITUDE. EACH DAY I WILL FOCUS ON ONE ASPECT & EACH DAY I WILL SHOW MY GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION TO SOMEONE NEW.

And what I’d love is for you to join me. Tell your friends, your family, co-workers, anyone.

I honestly feel that if we can embrace gratitude & all the goodness in the world, then we’ll be able to make amazing & far reaching positive change.

We are all capable of amazing things & it’ll take far less effort than you may think!

Gratitude is step one.

Assignment for Day 12:

1. How do you show gratitude to your health? Whether it’s exactly how you imagined it would be or nothing at all like what you thought- what is it about your current state of health that you can appreciate and show gratitude towards?

Being accepting of our current situation is one of the fastest ways to see past it and aim for whatever the next step up would be.  If you’re where you want to be, fantastic! Be grateful for that.  If you know you have some improvements to make, then being grateful for the here and now will help you uplevel your health to where you want it to be.

Spend a few minutes thinking & writing. Choose one place to collect your thoughts for our 21 day journey.

2. Choose your twelfth person to show gratitude to. You are free to speak your gratitude, write your gratitude or show your gratitude.

Any way that feels the most appropriate, that is how you need to do it.

Be honest & open. You are doing everything right!

Please feel free to share your thoughts below. Ask for help, guidance or support.

We’re all in this together

Being someone who works in the field of health & wellness, this was almost a no-brainer for me.

I am so grateful for what my body can do for me despite all of the stress that I put on it. I am even more grateful for my health- in good times and in bad…

Meaning if I know that I’m fighting something or that something is off kilter, then I am very grateful that I have learned to be patient, learned to listen and learned to take the cues from my body & my overall sense of health and well-being to know if it’s serious or not.

I am the most grateful for those moment when I have been unhealthy because without those, I don’t think I would truly appreciate the days of health that I do have.

I am very lucky and I know that.

This is a great concept Annette. I am going to link to your posts on my website and encourage people to participate. I would also offer people a free software program I had made for keeping track of your gratitude – it’s called The Gratitude Journal and even has a little sticky that will sit on your desktop so you can enter things you remember as soon as you do remember them and then go on about your business. These all get put into your journal. Pick it up at http://budurl.com/gratjournal

thanks for such a great blog

    Thank you so much Terrie!

I really appreciate you for spreading the word. This is a journey for me for sure & as much as I resisted it, I got the message that I should be doing this. Maybe someone thinks that I need to embrace more gratitude : )

Thank you also for passing on your gratitude journal software, I’ll be checking it out for sure! What a great concept!
